I knew when I married Adam that I was privileged to get such an incredibly smart man for a husband. I knew he was kind. I knew he was generous. But really, I had no idea that I was tying the knot to a comedian.

They happen often. Most of the time when I least expect it. Most of the time when I need a good laugh. They are always a pleasant surprise. Here are a few of my favorites:

While playing Scrabble - "Hold on. I have to go check on something." (Comes back 5 minutes later, looks in the fridge. 2 more minutes pass. Sits back down.) "How do you spell... Wiener?"
